Call for Applications: Master Program on “Integrated Water Resources
Management” and “Natural Resources Management”


*Academic year 2021 – 2023*

The Master program on “Integrated Water Resources Management” and “Natural
Resources Management” for Vietnam and South-East Asia (IWRM/NRM-SEA) is
offered in Vietnam by TH Koln - University of Applied Sciences (TH Koln)
and Thuy Loi University (TLU) and Vietnam Academy for Water Resources
(VAWR).

The MSc. program is based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)
with the total of 120 ETCS in 2 years of study. The program is accredited
in Germany and approved by Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training.

*SCHOLARSHIPS*

   - German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) grant scholarships for
   outstanding students (top 40% of class annually);
   - *Scholarships for outstanding students to be exchanged to Germany for
   3rd semester;*

*PROGRAM STRUCTURE: 02 years (04 years)*

   - 1st and 2nd semester: study in Vietnam at TLU/VAWR
   - 3rd semester: study in Germany at TH Koln - University of Applied
   Sciences or study in Vietnam at TLU/VAWR
   - 4th semester: write and defend the master thesis in Vietnam/Germany
   - Language for instruction: *English*.
   - Lecturers: from TH Koln - University of Applied Sciences (TH Koln),
   Thuy Loi University and Vietnam Academy for Water Resources (VAWR) and
   other leading universities and institutes.

*TUITION FEE:*

   - Total 5,200 Euro for the whole course (including the semester in
   Germany) for the students to be awarded with the Master degree by TH Koln -
   University of Applied Sciences;
   - Total 2,600 Euro for the whole course in Vietnam for the students to
   be awarded with the Master degree by Thuy Loi University.

*ADMISSION*

In order to participate in IWRM/NRM-SEA, you should:

   - Graduated from University in Water Resources Engineering, Construction
   Engineering, Hydraulic Construction Engineering, Hydrology, Infrastructure
   Engineering, Water Supply and Sewerage, Environmental Science,
   Environmental Engineering, Water environment, Hydropower and renewable
   energy, Agriculture, Forestry, Project management, Environmental and
   resource management, Agricultural economics, Natural resource economics,
   Economics, Land management and other industries will be considered for each
   case.
   - have an academic or professional background in the above fields
   - IELTS min. 5.5 or equivalent
