Dear members,

Within the framework of the ASEAN-German project "Promotion of sustainable agricultural value chains in ASEAN (ASEAN Agritrade)" and the project activity "Building model of public-private partnership in the value chain of agricultural products from production to consumption" implemented by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and the Department of Crop Production - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Agrinnovation Fund in ASEAN (AIF) is established to support the implementation of market-oriented innovative practices and solutions to improve quality and sustainability in agricultural value chains.

In Vietnam, the AIF Fund supports innovative ideas related to Bac Giang litchee value chain and Son La mango value chain which are applying VietGAP standards.

Focus Areas of AIF include:

  1.  Production and processing;
  2.  Marketing and market access;
  3.  Digital solutions; and
  4.  Cooperation in the value chain of agricultural products.

The AIF invites interested smallholder farmers' organizations, processing enterprises, exporters, retail chains, input and service providers in the above-mentioned value chains to submit their AIF proposal to the email: agrinnovationfund at giz.de<mailto:agrinnovationfund at giz.de>.

Deadline for submitting the Idea proposal (English or Vietnamese) is 5:00 p.m. March 15, 2021.
