We are looking for a Plastic Policy Officer, WWF-Viet Nam, based in Hanoi.

The Plastic Policy Officer is in charge of support the Plastic Policy team
in general and the Senior Project Officer on Global Plastic Policy & EPR
in  (1) knowledge management, policy development and advocacy work and
provide back-end support to enable policy and advocacy efforts towards a
new legally binding global agreement; (2) (technically, financially, and
logistically) implementing the Plastic program in WWF-Viet Nam in the
context of developing EPR and relevant policies as well as strengthening
regional and international potential initiatives in addressing (marine)
plastic pollution at both the global and national.

Key requirements for the role:


   - Bachelor or preferably Master degree in solid waste management,
   environmental policy, environmental economy, or natural resources
   management;
   - At least 3 years of practical experience in area(s) related to the
   above-mentioned area(s);
   - Interest in international environmental politics and motivation for
   making a global difference to stop the plastic pollution problem
   - Identifies and aligns with the core values of the WWF organization:
   Courage, Collaboration, Respect & Integrity.
   - Demonstrates WWF behaviors in ways of working: Strive for Impact,
   Listen Deeply, Collaborate Openly, Innovate Fearlessly;
   - Adheres to WWF’s brand values, which are: Knowledgeable, Optimistic,
