CALL FOR public tender
Package 1 (83406395): travel management
and package 2 (83406396): event management

As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. On behalf of the German Government, GIZ provides advisory services to the Vietnamese Government in three priority areas: (1) Vocational training, (2) Environmental policy and sustainable use of natural resources, and (3) Energy. GIZ Office Hanoi is conducting a public tender with multiple packages to seek eligible and experienced (with at least 7 professional years) local service providers: one company in travel and two companies in event organisation to offer the best bid for Travel management handling approximately 3.000 international and domestic flights (plus other services) with a ticketing volume of around 60 billion VND which Event management (event/study tours) in Vietnam and abroad share the same value for up to 03 years. Bidders can submit offers for both packages.

a.     Tentative timeframe of the assignment:
Package 1 (83406395) – Travel management: 01.09.2022 – 31.08.2024 with possible extension of 01 year
Package 2 (83406396) – Event management: 01.09.2022 – 31.08.2024 with possible extension of 01 year
b.     Place of assignment: Vietnam
c.      Submission requirements:  Interested bidders please contact GIZ Office Hanoi best before 03.06.2022 to receive the tender dossier by sending interest expression to email address: Question-from-bidder-pos-vn at giz.de<mailto:question-from-bidder-pos-vn at giz.de> with subject: 83406395-GIZ Office Hanoi-Package 1 (Travel) or/and 83406396-GIZ Office Hanoi-Package 2 (Event).

The following documents in English shall be prepared and submitted:

1.      Eligibility documents:

·       Letter of interest (with Director’s signature and company stamp);

·       Company profile (incl. business license, tax code registration, organisational chart, staff profile, list of services and concrete number of experiences in the provision of these services, list of representative offices in Vietnam and in the region, selected clients/projects reference of international companies/organisations);

·       Proof of experiences in the relevant service area (at least 3 reference letters; similar evidence);

·       Financial key data: Audited financial report of the last 04 years 2018,2019,2020,2021 (incl. balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statement, tax liquidation) / Letter of good standing from the bank;

·       For Package 1 additionally:

o   Notarisation copy of IATA accreditation certificate

o   Authorisation as Tier 1 agent of Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Air France

o   Other membership / award certificates in travel agency associations

4. After eligibility check, selected bidders will be technically assessed and finally, price evaluated.
