<p class="MsoNormal">As Vietnam experiences steep increases in energy demand and rising air pollution challenges, there is growing recognition that cleaner, more reliable sources of energy are needed and greater capital investment is necessary. USAID has a
number of ongoing activities in support of its Enhancing Growth and Development through Energy (EDGE) initiative, including Vietnam Urban Energy Security and INVEST. These two projects are currently implementing activities in Vietnam to mobilize public and
private sector investment for the clean energy and are coordinating on a number of interventions. Jointly, these projects seek a Clean Energy Finance Activity Manager to provide oversight and management to be based in Vietnam.<o:p></o:p></p>
