[ppwg] Invitation to workshop "The Future of Fundraising and Resource Mobilisation for Vietnamese Non-Governmental Organisation"

Dear All,

How do Vietnamese people think of philanthropic activities in general and
of those organised by Vietnamese non-governmental organisations in
particular? In Vietnam, what factors influence public giving to
philanthropic causes in general and to those run by Vietnamese
non-governmental organisations in particular? As many foreign donors have
planned to move out of Vietnam, what sources of fund are available for
developmental activities of Vietnamese non-governmental organisations?

Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (*i*SEE) and
Institute of Sociology (IOS) would like to invite you to the workshop ‘*The
future of fundraising and resource mobilisation for Vietnamese
Non-Governmental Organisations’*. In this workshop, our research team will
present findings of a recent research on perceptions, attitudes and
donating behaviours of thousands of adults living in Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Hue,
Daklak, Dong Thap, and Ho Chi Minh City. The team conducted this research
from March 2013 to October 2013.
