Dear Sir/Madam,

Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV) has released its latest Newsletter
(issue 9 - spring 2014). 'News from the Front' will give you all the updates
on how ENV is combating wildlife crimes, reducing demand for wildlife
products and strengthening wildlife protection-related legislation in
Vietnam.

The past few months have been busy for ENV, battling to save protected
species in Vietnam and around the world before it is too late. This issue
will give details on how:

*	Ha Long Bay's Bear Bile Farms continue to be closed down
*	ENV's campaign has reduced consumer wildlife crime in Hanoi and Ho
Chi Minh city
*	81% (and counting!) of web links advertising or promoting wildlife
crime have been removed
*	ENV is tackling major wildlife crimes by mapping criminal networks
and going after kingpins
*	Our Case Officers continue to directly save the lives of wild
animals
*	Tiger product users will be discouraged by our new TV advertisement:
'Killing tigers does not impress anyone'
*	ENV's rhino ambassador Xuan Bac has reached out to millions of
viewers to say "rhino horn is not magical medicine"
*	A review of criminal prosecutions has raised questions about
effectiveness of current practices in protecting endangered species

As well as many more interesting stories about how ENV is attacking the
issue of wildlife crime in Vietnam from all sides. For further details,
please see the attached file or visit the link
