The transfer took place on November 13, 2020, and now all seven of these bears are receiving proper care at Four Paws' bear sanctuary in Ninh Binh. <br><br>Incredibly, the recent acceleration of bear farmers choosing to give up their bears to a rescue center has been a catalyst for even more bear owners to do the same. Since October 1, 2020, 15 bears have been released from bear bile farms to sanctuaries around Vietnam. This rapid and unprecedented movement demonstrates Vietnam's commitment to become a bear-bile free nation. </font><br></div><div style="color:rgb(80,0,80)"><font color="#000000"><br></font></div><div style="color:rgb(80,0,80)"><font color="#000000">Attached is the joint media statement from the Bear Coalition of Vietnam.
