Germany has pledged to grant EUR1.65 million to help turn Vietnam’s central city of Danang into an environment city, the Phap Luat Thanh Pho Ho Chi Minh newspaper reported March 4. The German Organization for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) released the information at a conference on technical assistances for the project on Mar. 3, adding it will provide expertise and equipments to implement the project. It is slated for implementation from now up to late 2012.
