The Open Society Institute-Youth Initiative announces an open call for applications for a regional (South-East Asia) youth camp, "Debating & Producing Media." On behalf of the organizing committee, they would like to invite youth residing in Southeast Asia to apply to participant in this event, which will be held on 5th-18th July 2010 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. There is no participation fee, and accommodation and meals are provided for all participants. Limited travel grants are available. Please see details in this document [2].
The purpose of this event is for youth in South-East Asia to come together to discuss and learn about how to use new media to create positive social changes. In two weeks, participants will learn about debate, journalism, video production, internet communications etc. from regional experts in each field.
