The World Bank (WB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have chosen the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) to implement 136 projects capitalized at $4.2 billion amid the global economic downturn. Of the total sum, Agribank has disbursed $2.3 billion. Agribank is the only bank of Vietnam which has been listed among the world’s biggest Fortune 500 by revenues.
