Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has been operating in 37 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.
Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 6 CDPs and is managing about 10,000 sponsored children.

Be in charge of the effeciency of activities related to Child right education (Child empowerment services, Child right awarness, Puppet show on child abuse prevention); Child participation (Child clubs…), Child protection system.

Design:
Overall building Project’s Plan of Action (POA) for child protection program; ensure to meet the deadlines and high efficiency;
Actively proposing ideas to develop CP progarms as well as boost the effeciency of implementing activities
Working with involved partners & participants to ensure the effeciency of jointly holding activities
Submiting to SSD manager, team leader proposals, progress and result reports for all activities which include in POA and other special funds
Supporting CP staffs at CDP level in terms of making and checking submitted activity proposals
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Be in charge of monitoring implementation process of all the CP activities to to ensure to meet the deadline, high quality and high efficiency;
Making reports (regular or as required) on CP implemented activities.
Managing and promoting the process of disbursement as planned
Networking
Building up relationship with specialists, consultants who are working on the field of the team, with specific organizations or agencies (governmental agency, other organizations, individuals, etc.) in order to enhance the quality of project implementation;
Guide and ensure that partners, participants properly follow GNI regulations during the activities
Internal communication
Regularly reporting on activities/events or when required to the PIC of activities
Keep contact and frequently support the CP staff at CDP level in terms of activity
Actively consulting other teams, department for efficiency and adjustment of the activities/programs (if any)
Cooperating with other divisions (AD, FD...) in the office to implement the activities effectively
Other tasks by line managers
3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education
University degree in Social Works and other relevant field
Work experience
At least 1- year relevant working experience
Experience in working with children
Experience in community development or with NGO
Skills
Ability to gather and analyse statistical data and generate reports
Good English skills
Good skill in computer use
Abilitty to work independently and with the team
Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills
Attitude
Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 1 year.
