ActionAid Vietnam (AAV) started its programme in Vietnam since 1989 and in 1992 the Representative Office was registered. Over the two decades, AAV has been recognized and known well in country for its contribution to the development of Vietnam. AAV works with different stakeholders in the specific context of Vietnam and contributes to Vietnam’s advancement of people’s rights to development and dignity.
Since 2013, AAV has implemented and EC funded project “Strengthening civil society organisations and networks to enhance the civic and political rights of ethnic minorities and underrepresented groups in Lai Chau province, Viet Nam”. The overall objective of the project is to promote the participation of ethnic minorities, under-represented groups, and civil society organizations (CSOs) in political representation and participation in the development processes.
As planned, the project is going to end by March 2015. In order to assess achievements of the project and propose practical and specific recommendation at both strategy and operational levels for future programming, ActionAid Vietnam (AAV) is seeking qualified consultant(s) for the Project Final Evaluation.
