Viet-Nam Assistance for the Handicapped (VNAH) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, tax-exempt charitable organization founded in 1991 to assist the war amputees and other disabled in Viet-Nam. Its overall purpose is to assist the disabled in Viet-Nam to overcome their disability and to lead a richer and fuller life.
VNAH programs provide technical assistance to regional prosthetics clinics in the production and delivery of limbs and braces; to both government and privately owned wheelchair factories in the production of high quality, low cost wheelchairs; in vocational training to two national vocational training centers and selected centers in the provinces; and promotion of programs and policies at the national level to integrate the disabled into all aspects of their community's social and economic affairs.
VNAH is seeking a national consultant to conduct a legal research and assessment for supporting its government partner, MOLISA in order to develop a penalty decree on violation of Disability Legislations.
