WWF-Vietnam is looking for consultant to conduct Wild meat and wildlife product consumption research in Hue – market and consumer research to record availability, prevalence of consumption, and understanding motivations behind consumption of wild meat and wildlife products (The detailed TOR [1] is attached herewith for your reference)
Objective of the assignment The aim of this service is to carry out a market survey and consumer research study in Hue which determines what species are being sold/consumed, the establishments where these are sold, the prevalence of consumption for wild meat and wildlife products, and identifies the motivations driving this consumption.
Expected qualifications of the consultants:
- Consultant should have related background in illegal wildlife trade, social science research, consumer research, market surveys, and knowledge of wildlife consumption in Vietnam. Master degree for team leader in related subject.
- Minimum 3 years experience on relevant subjects: research, illegal wildlife trade and work in Vietnam is preferred
- Experience on working as a consultant in consumer or other social research
- Good at writing report and communication, understand local context
