The project for Adaptation to Climate Change in the Mekong Delta in Tra Vinh province (AMD Tra Vinh) is funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
Goal of the project is the achievement of sustainable livelihoods for the rural poor in a changing environment. Objective of the project is the strengthened adaptive capacity of target communities and institutions to better contend with climate change.
The project’s target groups are poor, near-poor, women-headed and Khmer households.
The project includes three components:
- Climate change knowledge enhancement
- Investing in sustainable livelihoods
- Project management
In preparation for the project midterm review, the Project Coordination Unit recruits qualified consultants with appropriate experiences and profession to evaluate the project and it’s operation (overall evaluation and evaluation for each component) in order to provide requirements and recommendations on the implementation for consolidating outputs and outcomes of the project, enhancing the project’s efficiency, effectiveness and impact. In particular, consultants shall provide specific recommendations for the revision or change on (i) the project design, (ii) the project’s focus and strategic priorities, (iii) approach, tools, process, activities and objectives, (iv) implementation process and institution, (v) operational structure and management.

Implementation time: Two (02) months since the beginning of August 2017
