The Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI) is a science and technology organization with the mission of providing research, training and consulting services as a leading management science institution in Vietnam. At present, AMDI is implementing training, consulting and researching projects in the fields of organization management, tourism, trade, health facility, agriculture, disaster risk reduction and climate change.
We are looking for high-qualified candidates for the following vacancy:
DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH CENTER
Job description:
- Developing research proposal, methodology, tools, work plan and budget;
- Collecting qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources, in-depth interview, survey, focused group discussion, etc.;
- Supervising and coaching junior researchers
- Analyzing data and writing reports
- Presenting findings to partners and donors, government agencies and other tasks if needed.
Requirements:
- Master degree in social science, statistics or environment, economics or similar
- Excellent English skills in writing and speaking
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position.
- Experience in working with international organizations and government agencies
- Experience in SPSS software would be an advantage
- Ability to cope with high pressure, work independently and in team
- Should be highly flexible, adaptable and multiple-task oriented
- Good planning skill
