Organization and project description: Plan International Vietnam was established in 1993, is an international child-centered community development organization. Plan is working in partnership with local people; organizations and government bodies to help children in Vietnam meet their basic needs as well as expand their opportunities to reach their full potential.
The project “Building climate change resilience of vulnerable ethnic minority groups in Lai Chau Province and nationwide youths in Vietnam” is funded by Germany Foundation and various Swiss donors over the period from September 2016 to August 2018 in the four project communes of Sin Ho and Phong Tho districts, Lai Chau province. Within its resources, the project expects to deliver positive changes in the life of local adults and children in the target communes through enhancing their resilience against climate change and disaster risks; as well as through promoting youths’ leadership and actions in climate change adaptation and environmental protection. In order to document the expected changes in a more sharable and effective way, situation videos and collections of photographs (before and after project) will be produced, in acknowledgement of the rising of visual storytelling in popularity and public outreach in recent years. Within the scope of this ToR, national consultants to work as film-makers and photographers to deliver the before-project set is being sought. The consultants for these 2 tasks (film and photograph) could be in the same team or different teams.
