The Cambodia Agricultural Value Chain Program (CAVAC) is a large agricultural development program which is an Australian Government, AusAID initiative.
CAVAC is seeking a Rice Seed Production Specialist to train CAVAC’s rice seed production partner in a suitable production methodology to produce high-quality seed according to Cambodia’s national standard; and develop rice seed production training for small rice seed producers.
The Consultant / Specialist must have a combination of the following:
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in rice seed production
- Experience in conducting training in rice seed production
- Demonstrated capacity to network and work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and good communication / presentation skills
- Experience working in countries with a similar context to Cambodia.
- The duration of the consultancy will be four weeks.
This position will be remunerated in line with AusAID’s Adviser Remuneration
Framework, within Discipline Group C, Job Level 2.
