The project Support to the Reform of Social Assistance System, in the period 2013-2016” (SAP), supported by The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), provides technical assistance to the Ministry of Labour-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), line ministries, sectors and selected provinces for improvement of the social assistance system in Vietnam.
According to Resolution 70, MOLISA was tasked to develop the Master Plan for Social Assistance Reform. In order to support MOLISA perform this task, UNDP assists MOLISA and related ministries through SAP recruiting a group of international consultants to conduct the thematic studies. So far the reports have been completed to provide inputs for the development of Master Plan on social assistance, generate the consensus between parties, relevant authorities on the reformed contents of social assistance system before submitting to Government for approval.
To ensure the quality and timeframe of technical assistances in accordance with MOLISA requirement, SAP recruits 01 senior national consultant having experience in social assistance/poverty reduction area to support Social Protection Department and SAP in editing and revising the report “Social Assistance in Viet Nam: a review and proposals for reform”.
