RECRUITMENT FOR SHORT-TERM SPONSORSHIP SERVICE DIVISION OFFICER
Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has been operating in 37 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.
Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 6 CDPs and is managing about 10,000 sponsored children.

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Country Director, Managing Director, General Manager, SSD Manager/ Officers, AD-FD Manager/Officers , PMs, Project Officers
External: GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental Officials, INGOs, Communities.
2. MAIN DUTIES
- Be involved in the preparation of Plan of Action (POA);
- Be involved in DS activities: case management, ACL, APR, gift money and letter, annual gift, new child;
- Be responsible for child sponsorship activities: health checkup;
- Keep contact with manager and in-charge officer in HO;
- Take responsibility for efficiency of the program during implementation process: preparation of proposal, make plan, implement, and monitor activities, make report;
- Contact/work with relevant local partners to create favorable conditions for effective implementation of the program;
- Instruct and ensure that partners, participants follow the working principles of GNI in implementation of the program;
- Make report of activities/events as requested by Project Managers and line managers;
- Manage and promote the disbursement process of activities as planned;
- Coordinate with other divisions (AD-FD, etc.) to implement activities effectively;
- Consult with HO about efficiency and adjustment of program/activities;
- Perform other activities when be requested by line managers.
3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education:
- University degree in Social works, Education or other related fields.
Work experience:
- At least 1-year relevant working experience.
- Experience in community development or with NGO.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and with the team;
- Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
- Good skill in computer use: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
- Basic English skill.
