SNV is implementing the AusAID funded project ‘Sowing the Seeds of Change: Community-based Climate Change Mitigation through Sustainable Rice Production’ (SRI) in Quang Binh and Binh Dinh provinces. The project supports small-holder rice producers to improve sustainable production system that increases productivity of rice cultivation while reducing requirements for water, seed, synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and labour, especially tasks performed by women, as well as reduced GHG emissions of methane and nitrous oxide.
For the Summer- Autumn season crop in the provinces of Quang Binh and Binh Dinh, in order to manage the fertilizing process, meeting the low GHG emission production protocol, we are seeking for research institutes and research laboratories to serve as technical provider to conduct soil analysis. The assignment will be undertaken in May 2013. Details of the assignment please see the attached ToR (in English [1] and Vietnamese [2]).
Applications should consist of a cover letter which includes specific reference to prior relevant experience, the financial proposal (including price quotation for each type of sample, the quotation is submitted in a closed envelop), and the CV of technician whose will conduct the test.
