Notice of Upcoming Request for Proposals – PFES M&E and E-Payment
ECODIT LLC (ECODIT) is preparing to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified organizations or consortia, for a subcontract to implement the activity summarized below:
The USAID Green Annamites Project plans to support (1) deployment of a web-based GIS application to improve the FPDF M&E system for PFES, (2) expansion of PFES e-payment linking with communities’ bank accounts, and (3) 12 trainings on using tablets for forest monitoring. Accordingly, and building on prior work by other USAID programs and other partners, the Project seeks to design a PFES M&E and e-payment package for Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces that will include 12 trainings for communities responsible for on-the-ground forest monitoring. The improved communities’ forest monitoring system will contribute to better forest environmental services provided to buyers, especially to hydropower companies. This activity aims at increasing the use of PFES e-payments to forest owners, and improve accountability and transparency of the overall system.
The services are required under the USAID Green Annamites Project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under Task Order No. AID-440-TO-16-00001.
