The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) will fund a $3.1 million youth development project in Vietnam in 2022-2026, local media reported. The project was launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the UNFPA Vietnam last weekend, aiming to support the Vietnamese government in upholding and supervising laws and policies on comprehensive youth development and youth participation in responses to natural disasters, emergency situations, and pandemics. It will create a favorable environment for youth development, including life skills and sex education, and empower young people to engage in policy building and enforcement.
