After COP 22 – The Climate Conference in Marrakech: Outcomes, Follow-up and Implications for Vietnam

In the light of the main results of COP 22 and issues that remained unaddressed, NGO’ Resource Center’s Climate Change Working Group (CCWG) and Oxfam in Vietnam as its chair organization, with the support from Friedrich- Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Vietnam organizes an international workshop on 08 December 2016 at Fortuna hotel. It brought together around 150 participants from international non-government organizations, policy makers, scientists, media and interested public. The event explored the implications and next steps for the response to climate change in Vietnam, particularly regarding the Paris Agreement, the development of National Determined Contributions (NDC), and of a National Adaptation Plan, as well as opportunities towards an inclusive and pro-poor implementation of those strategies.
