Orbis is a leading NGO that has been a pioneer in the prevention and treatment of blindness for almost all 40 years. Orbis transforms lives by delivering the skills, resources and knowledge needed to provide accessible quality eye care. In Vietnam, Orbis has been providing the highest level of expertise to support the development of eye care services and blindness prevention– especially in the areas of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), paediatric and Diabetic Retinopathy services and in establishing an eye bank. Since 2015, Orbis has worked to strengthen the eye health system in the country, focusing on the quality of services and human resources.

The USAID LinkSME project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), supports the Government of Vietnam (GVN) in its efforts to develop, adopt, and implement policy and regulatory reforms to provide a more favorable environment for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It also works with business support organizations (BSOs) and the GVN to improve the performance of SMEs and integrate them into lead-firm supply chains.
