Aide et Action is an international NGO with its headquarter in Geneva, Switzerland. AEA began its program in 1981 and is currently working in 25 countries across Asia, Africa and Europe. Since its establishment, AEA has committed to the improvement of accessing to quality education for over 3 million children around the world. AEA has been working in Vietnam since 2003 in provinces of Vietnam, namely Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Thai Nguyen. In the Implementation Strategy for the period of 2016-2020, the northern mountainous region of Vietnam is identified as one of the key areas of operation of the organization, including the provinces of Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Hoa Binh.
