The CBCCI Launching Workshop!

On 3rd Jun 2016, CCWG organized successfully the workshop namely ”Closing the Gap. Linking Bottom-up and Top-down Climate Change Responses to Better Address Vietnam’s Adaptation Needs” to launch  the Community-based Climate Change Initiatives (CBCCI) report and policy brief in order to inform this publication to a wider public and the Vietnamese media.

Climate Change Working Group's Workshop on Community Based Climate Change Initiatives

This workshop will launch an Impact Assessment Report on Community Based Climate Change Initiatives undertaken by the CCWG, and an accompanying Policy Brief, based on good practices. The workshop will provide an opportunity to advocate for the replication and scaling-up of good practices within the government programmes to respond to climate change.

After COP 21: The Paris Agreement and its Implications for Vietnam

On 21st January 2016, CCWG in cooperation with Department for Meteorology, Hydrology (DMHCC) and Climate Change organized successfully a workshop namely "After COP21: The Paris Agreement and its implication for Vietnam" with a view to share the achievements of COP 21, main contents of Paris Agreement and it's implications to Vietnam as well as to discuss the next steps to implement the Agreement.

The workshop was chaired by DMHCC and gather a number of representatives from NGOs, research institutes, universities, embassies, development organizations, media and individuals.
