Human Resource Officer; IT Officer
ChildFund in Vietnam is part of the international ChildFund Alliance, a group of 12 child focused development organizations working since 1938 to improve the lives of children and families around the world. ChildFund in Vietnam has been supporting community development projects in Vietnam since 1995, focusing on health, education, sustainable livelihoods, water and sanitation and child rights and
protection.
As a part of our activity expansion we are now seeking highly qualified candidates for the following newly created positions:
1. HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
Main Responsibilities: Ensure that the recruitment processes are adequate and effective, coordinate on advertisement preparation & publicity, interview and prepare contract offer; Analyse and identify training needs in conjunction with sectional managers through job analysis, appraisal schemes and
regular consultation with line managers and HR & Support Services Manager, developing Training & Development program based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs; Coordinate, develop and maintain the quality of ChildFund’s operational policies; Maintain and update personnel files of employees and leave records thru the personnel database system; Other appropriate duties as indicated by the line manager.
Requirements:
- University qualification (postgraduate preferred) in Administration/Personnel Management or in relevant field;
- At least 3 years experience in an HR role and area (working experiences in an INGO is preferable); Experiences on training & development activities, being familiar with preparing a variety of materials for training events; excellent communication skills, and an ability to relate to people of all backgrounds, presenting information in an effective manner, both written and verbally;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese, including experience preparing proposals and reports and making public presentations; Good computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Team work and interpersonal skills, and comfort in undertaking significant networking.
2. IT OFFICER
Main responsibilities:
- Closely Server and network monitoring and maintenance;
- Data back up; Workstation maintenance; Technical support to users (including training);
- Consult the organization on application of softwares and other updated IT tools; Email management/File management/File Security;
- Being proactive and initiative at giving proposal and solution for the organization’s IT system development;
- Protocol and policy development; IT Strategy Development and Planning.
Requirements:
- University degree in IT or related discipline;
- At least 3-4 years of IT work experience, experience in LAN maintenance preferred;
- Good written and spoken English;
- Experience in providing IT support to offices (hardwares and softwares, especially MS office applications) and in giving training in IT for non-IT people; - Familiar with Microsoft system such as Windows 2003 server, XP, ISA 2004, Exchange
- Server and MDaemon, element of Oracle and SUN is preferable;
Experience in networking especially experience of VPN; Ability to work independently, as well as in a team;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ready to travel to the field offices (occasional basis).
- Reporting to the HR & Support Services Manager, these full-time positions are based in Hanoi with limited travel to provinces in northern Vietnam.
