Intern of Education Program
Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society
development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.
They are looking for a Vietnamese candidate for the position as Intern of Education Program.
The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.
Job Purpose
The intern works under the guidance and supervision of the Program Managers and Officers and is responsible for supporting the implementation of the education programs at the central and local levels.
Key accountabilities
The intern is responsible for supporting the project team in Reporting and Documentation of project materials, project monitoring, supervision and support, and is also entitled to learning opportunity through attending project events as appropriate.
Person specification
- Young, recent and enthusiastic graduates who have good English working knowledge
- University degree
- Very good knowledge of Vietnamese and English, including bilingual translation and interpretation.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Internet, WinWord, and Excel)
- Basic knowledge of development work.
- Willing to travel to project sites.
