Program Coordinator – Monitoring and Quality Assurance and Improvement

FAMILY HEALTH INTERNATIONAL (FHI) is an international non-governmental organization that works with the Vietnam Ministry of Health, other ministries, provincial health services, and local non-government organizations to promote the health and well-being of the Vietnamese population, particularly vulnerable and disenfranchised groups. FHI is currently building the capacity of local organizations in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment; clinical research for the development of vaccines and drugs for infectious diseases; tobacco control; and laboratory strengthening.

They are currently seeking qualified, experienced and highly motivated Vietnamese national to join FHI/Vietnam for the following position based in Hanoi:

Program Coordinator – Monitoring and Quality Assurance and Improvement
The position will be responsible for monitoring and quality assurance/quality improvement activities to ensure that all FHI project interventions are appropriately monitored and undergo systematic quality assurance/quality improvement reviews.

Main responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of QA/QI plans to ensure the progress and quality of projects/activities; Manage expansion of QA/QI system to other partners.
- Review and formulate the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans for all sub-agreements and projects/activities supported by FHI.
- Assume responsibility for compiling quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports; monitor and analyze implementing agency reports to assure adherence to the approved annual work plan.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and abilities:
- Master’s degree in social sciences or public health, or equivalent years of experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of M&E, quality assurance and program/project development.
- Ability to analyze data and supervise projects, set priorities and plan for the successful implementation of programs.
- Experience and knowledge in health or development programs, preferably in the area of the specific position
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new areas and willingness to contribute to a dynamic team. 
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Experience with computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and the Internet.
- Work experience with NGOs/INGOs is preferred but not mandatory.
