Vacancy: Project Officers – Child Protection
Based in Hanoi
They are now seeking qualified Vietnamese nationals to fill in 2 positions of Project Officer for Child Protection programme team: 1 Project Officer for project ‘Strengthening the Child Protection system in Vietnam’ and 1 Protect Officer for project ‘Developing Community based Child Protection System target to migrant and vulnerable children’. The projects give emphasis on protection of children especially the migrant and those vulnerable to trafficking, abuse and exploitation.
Job Purpose
The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of programme’s advocacy strategies and networking; participating in project planning, budgeting, implementation, reporting, monitoring, supervision and evaluation and programme development to ensure that programme activities meet intended targets and outcomes.
Person specifications:
- University degree in Law, Social Justice, Social work or development
- 3 years experience working in development projects
- Understanding of child protection, trafficking, migration and social work.
- Demonstrable “Training of Trainers” experience
- Experience in networking and advocacy
- Familiar with Government, UN and NGOs’ work in Vietnam
- Capacity to work effectively in a team and as an active team member
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent liaison and negotiation skills
- Good computer skills in Word, Excel
