Dear Members and Friends:

Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 – 31 December 2019.

It is informed by Marie Stopes International in Viet Nam (MSV) with pleasure that Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hang, the former Country Director of MSV, has resumed the position offcially from mid November 2019. Her email for contact is [email protected].

ChildFund Vietnam would like to announce that, associated with the Vietnamese Government Policy on building up a safe and healthy life of children in the digital world, Microsoft has partnered with ChildFund Vietnam to develop software and applications to support child protection activities on the Internet. The app 111 was launched on both Google Play store and App store on 13th Dec 2019.

Users are provided with a tailored template aimed at reporting any suspected child abuse cases and calling for necessary support. In addition, an online library as a key function of the app is also created to introduce to its users information and knowledge of Children Rights and Safety Skill Set for Children.

Users can easily scan the QR code to find and install the app or download it from the link for Android or for IOS

The application is available in a user-friendly way which can work on both mobile systems with similar design.

There is no meeting scheduled for the second half of December 2019.

Please check the 'Calendar of Events' section on our home page for the latest updates and possible changes.

Warm greetings from the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre's Team!
