Pfizer Vietnam, Cho Ray Hospital Ink MoU on Raising Awareness of Antibiotics

Pfizer Vietnam Ltd. and Ho Chi Minh City–based Cho Ray Hospital have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation in raising awareness about antibiotics and an antibiotics management project, local media reported.

Addressing the signing ceremony in HCMC on January 10, Director of the hospital Nguyen Tri Thuc highly valued the cooperation program as it is expected to contribute to raising awareness about antibiotic resistance among health workers and the community, building policies to improve the effectiveness of antibiotics, and promoting the dissemination of the fight against antibiotic resistance in Vietnam.

Under the deal, Pfizer Vietnam plans to organize scientific conferences and campaigns about this issue with hospitals, schools, and health associations across the country. (Suc Khoe Doi Song)
