01 Reasercher for Analysis and Assessment on Policy, Programme and Project

Department of Rural Institution is an research unit under the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD). Our function is to do research and propose policies for rural institutions development to the Government & Ministry of Agriculture and rural development ; analyze and assess the impacts of the policies on rural institutions’ development. We also have the function of supporting, advising and providing services related to developing forms for rural and ariculture enterprises, cooperatives, farms, households, etc. They have been executed many researches and offered advice for policies formulation to support the development of rural institutions.

The upcoming time, following the innovation trend of autonomy that IPSARD is leading, DRI has been growing and continuing building capacity of qualified researcher team to meet the reuquirements of policy research and advice for both Government and such clients as enterprises, cooperatives, households. In 2009, under the project “Study on policy recommendations to support for development of small and medium enterprises in agricultural sector and rural areas – phase II + III ” funded by Spanish International Cooperation Agency (AECID) which DRI is implementing, DRI is looking for experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidates for the 1 following positions:
01 reasercher for analysis and assessment on  policy, programme and project.

a) Job description:
- Collect and compile the tools and methodologies for analysis and assessment of  policy, development programme and project in agriculture sector.
- Collect and compile the tools and methodologies for analysis and assessment to the impacts of policy on production and development of agriculture institutions (small and medium enterprises in agriculture sector, cooperatives, farms and afforestration yards).
- Participate some researches assessing the impacts of policies on the development of agriculture and rural institutions (small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, farms, afforestration yards).
- Study experience on policy criticsm and participate preparing articles for policy dialogue forum on Ipsard website, the part in charged by DRI about policy for the development of rural institutions.

b) Requirements:
- Master degree and above (oversea study is an advantage) in Investment economy, Development economic, Agriculture and rural development economic.
- Excellence in at least one foreign language (English or French)
- At least 3 year experience in relevant field.
- Experienced in editing scientific news, articles.
- Ability to work as team leader or in group.
