Project Manager

Indochina Research and Consulting (IRC) is a research and consultancy company which has come to operation at the beginning of 2009. The history of IRC Vietnam began around a decade ago when the founding members who were young researchers coming from different parts of the country, had cooperated in several research projects on Vietnam. IRC was then founded after its founders finished their PhD studies and work abroad. IRC is now developing toward a leading research and consultancy institution in the areas of development studies in Vietnam.

IRC is currently seeking for capable and experienced person to for the position of Project Manager for its head office in Hanoi.

Key responsibilities:
- Supporting CEO and Research Team Leaders in managing research projects;
- Contributing to the development and negotiation of research projects;
- Coordinating project team members in terms of administrative matters;
- Assisting CEO in managing administrative staff;
- Essential requirements
- At least bachelor degree in social sciences with good understanding of issues in the areas of development, economics, sociology, statistics or related fields; 
- Experiences in managing research projects in the areas of development studies;
- Long term commitment for the job.
- Perfect English proficiency;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Willingness to travel to provinces;
- Preferred criteria
- Having a good network with international organizations and NGOs in Vietnam;
- Experiences in working international organizations and/or projects supported by international donors;
- Having trainings in business administration;
- Working conditions

Types of contract: Full-time
Compensation: competitive and negotiable, based on candidates’ expertise
