Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam’s first non-governmental organization focused on conservation of nature and the environment. Their mission is to foster greater understanding amongst the Vietnamese public about environmental issues of local, national and global significance, ranging from protection of wildlife and natural ecosystems to climate change. ENV is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Admin Officer, who will take care of following duties:
1. Human Resources
- Maintain and manage up to date personnel files on all ENV staff
- Work with department heads to advertise, process applications, arrange interviews, and initiate timely job offers for open positions at ENV
- Reinforce and ensure that ENV security policy is properly carried out and maintained by all staff.
- Taking care of insurances & benefits for ENV employees.
2. Administrative systems
- Maintain and update ENV equipment inventory and provide an updated quarterly report to the management board.
- Manage the computer assignment and maintenance system for all ENV-owned computers.
- Maintain ENV office filing systems
3. Finance
- Maintain accurate attendance records for all ENV staff.
- Manage the processing of monthly receipts for expenditures, advance balance sheet and payroll.
- Serve as liaison with ENV’s bank on matters relating to operation of ENV accounts
- Manage payment of all relevant income tax on a timely basis as required in accordance with existing law.
4. Communications
- Communicate regularly with the direct supervisor and management team
- Assist the communications department in organizing, preparing, and executing distributions of ENV materials
5. Other duties
Complete other duties and assignments as specified by ENV managers
Qualifications:
- University degree, accounting/finance background is preferred
- Strong administrative experiences
- Careful, ability to pay attention to details and carry out work accurately meeting high quality standards
- Familiar with taxes, insurances and other benefits for employee in accordance with existing laws
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Good communications skills and able to communicate and work with others
- Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Internet. Quickbooks preferred
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, take initiative
- Supervision skill is preferred.
