Associate Senior Consultants

Urban Care is a social enterprise established since April 2010 in Hanoi providing worldwide services to the aid & health sector. Urban Care serves NGOs, donors and health care professionals with advanced monitoring & evaluation services. Its core competency is costs and cost-effectiveness analysis.
Urban Care’s social objective is to open, using its own funds, a first low-cost outpatient clinic in Hanoi targeting low-and middle-income families by the horizon of 2012-2013.
Urban Care is financially independent and benefit from the technical and academic support of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
Urban Care is looking for highly qualified consultants established in Hanoi, Vietnamese or Expatriates, to support its expansion in Asia.

Positions opening: Associate Senior Consultants
They are opening positions in the domain of:
HIV/AIDS
Tuberculosis
Mother & Child Health
Mental Health

Urban Care will select one person per domain, and a back up for each position.

The selected professionals would start as Associate Senior Consultants and would be remunerated based on actual missions performed with Urban Care. The Associate Senior Consultants would work as an Urban Care’s team member on complex evaluation and support projects in Asia. The Associate Senior Consultants would benefit from Urban Care’s administrative support, professional and academic network, and task force. The Associate Senior Consultants would be actively promoted by Urban Care and would see their profiles posted on Urban Care’s website.

After a year of experience, based on performance, the Associate Senior Consultant would be proposed a long-term contract with the possibility to take the head of a consulting department in his/her sector to build a long-term strategy within our company to then move to a Partner position.

Please take into consideration that Urban Care is not looking to building a consultants database, but to engage into a long-term relationship with some selected professionals.

Qualifications
- Common requirements to all candidates:
- Fluency in English;
- Vietnamese language is a strong asset, at least working level;
- Ability to travel in Asia;
- Computer literate;
- Passport holder;
- TOT experience is a strong asset;
- Reactive mindset.

Specific requirements:
- The candidates for the positions of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis or Mother & Child Health Associate Senior Consultant should meet those minimal criteria:
- A medical degree;
- A master degree in Public Health/Epidemiology;
- A 4-year relevant job experience in the aid sector, with at least one full year at managerial level;
- A relevant one-year experience in clinical medicine;
- A relevant one-year experience in consultancy;
- Experience in M&E is preferable.

The candidates for the positions of Mental Health Associate Senior Consultant should have those minimal qualifications:
- A master degree in clinical psychology;
- A 3-year experience in NGOs, and/or a 3-year experience dealing with marginal or stigmatized populations;
- A one-year experience in clinical psychology;
- A demonstrated understanding of mental health issues in public health
