Senior Financial Officer

Pathfinder International’s mission in Vietnam is to support the government, private sector and civil society to strengthen health systems for improved quality of sexual and reproductive health care that meet the needs of underserved and disadvantaged populations. To this end, PI supports efforts to strengthen pre-service and in-service training in health care, including core clinical reproductive health practices, youth-friendly services and HIV/AIDS. In addition, PI works to strengthen primary health care (PHC) and reproductive health management practices and policies supportive of quality PHC and RH training and services. We are seeking for qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Senior Financial Officer. This position is based in Ha Noi.

Professional requirements:
- Outstanding knowledge of program and financial management and functions
- Minimum of six-year hand-on experience and excellent skills in program budgeting, accounting and financial management and related functions
- Excellent experience in program management and implementation
- Excellent English and Vietnamese language skills
- Able to communicate and coordinate well with Vietnamese and international partners
- Strong leadership, management and analytical skills

Personal requirements:
- Highly responsible, careful, detailed oriented, dedicated and organized person
- Ability to work both independently and as team member
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Creative, flexible and respecting confidentiality
- Experience with both international organizations and government is a plus
- Excellent computer skills (both the office software and accounting software)
- Able and willing to travel within Vietnam.
