03 National Consultants for the “Vietnam HIV/AIDS Prevention Project”
“Vietnam HIV/AIDS Prevention Project” funded by the World Bank and DFID (VNHPP) is 8 - year Project in order to support the key objectives of Government of Vietnam’s National HIV/AIDS strategy. Central Project Management Unit - Ministry of Health invites eligible and qualified candidates to express their interest for 03 national individual consultants to assess the willingness of clients to pay for 03 services: HIV Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT), Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) and Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT).
Requirements:
General requirements:
(1)Having experience in health economics and policy research.
(2)Good at biostatistics, and data analysis using Stata.
(3)Fluent in English; an example of written work is required.
(4)Good at interpersonal skill, team-work spirit & adaptability.
(5)Good health & willing to travel to field sites.
(6)Able to work in team, eager to collaborate with other consultant and the team leader to fulfill the task.
Specific requirements:
The 1st Consultant: Team leader
1.Master's degree or higher, majoring in public health, health economics, economics, or management.
2.Having evidence on applied health economics on HIV/AIDS is a must; examples of evidence include published research papers or peer-reviewed reports. Priority given for candidate with a publication in an international journal.
3.Familiar with econometric modeling techniques, preferred in HIV/AIDS studies.
The 2nd consultant:
1.Bachelor degree or higher, majoring in public health, health economics, economics, or management. Master degree is preferred.
2.Have proven experience in substance use (drug, alcohol, tobacco,..) and/or HIV/AIDS, for instance: published journal articles, experiences in project implementation, project management, research and evaluation on substance use, or involved in professional education in the related fields.
The 3rdconsultant:
1.Bachelor degree or higher, majoring in public health, health economics, economics, or management. Master degree is preferred.
2.Having evidence on research experience in HIV/AIDS is a must; examples of evidence include published research papers or peer-reviewed reports. Priority given for candidate with a publication in an international journal.
