Survey Environment Expert & Survey Health Researcher
Project Document for “Environmental Remediation of Dioxin Contaminated Hotspots in Viet Nam” was signed on 28 June 2010 by and between Minister of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Global Environment Facilities (GEF) is funding agency of this project. The project has been implemented since 2010, and is expected to complete in 2013.
The Objective of the project is “to minimise disruption of ecosystems and health risks for people from environmental releases of TCDD contaminated hotspots”. This will contribute to the broader Goal, which is “to overcome the consequences of toxic chemicals used in the war in Viet Nam”.
The project is designed to achieve 3 key outcomes: (i) Dioxin in core hotspot areas contained and remediated; (ii) Land use on and around hotspots eliminates risks and contributes to environmental recovery; (iii) Strengthen national regulations and institutional capacities.
The project is now seeking 02 qualified candidates to fulfill the positions of Survey Environment Expert (1) & Survey Health Researcher (2)
