Vacancy: HHCC Project Manager

Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the Project Manager position to join our Health and Nutrition team to implement the project: Scale up of the model of Household to hospital Continuum of Maternal and Newborn Care in Viet Nam (HHCC). The successful candidate can be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities

This position is responsible for management of the project’s component which is being implemented by Ministry of Health (MOH) to ensure the effective implementation and high impact of the HHCC project.

Key Competencies:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Master of Public Health is required. Obstetric/Gynaecologic (Obs/Gyn), Pediatrician are preferred
• Minimum of five years work experience in the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) field
• Knowledge of progressive health and medical approaches for public health
• Experience with maternal and neonatal health care programs is highly desirable
• Experience in project management including designing, planning, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and financial management.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude to team work
• Experience working with MoH and other government counterparts.
• Good computer skills including MS Office, Excel and SPSS.
