Job Title: VIETNAM PROJECT OFFICER

The Global Road Safety Partnership is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Vietnam Project Officer.

The position is based at the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Country office in Hanoi.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with the GRSP Vietnam Country Coordinator to deliver best practice road safety activities through all GRSP Vietnam programmes;
• Support the GRSP Vietnam Country Coordinator with the planning, monitoring and reporting of all GRSP programmes and activities in Vietnam.
• Support international and local trainers with workshops preparation and delivery as required;
• Ensure clear, effective and efficient communication and coordination with road safety stakeholders/ partners as required,
• Enhance visibility of GRSP in Vietnam by showcasing excellence, collaboration and professionalism.
• Undertake other work as required, including translation, office management, etc.

In addition, GRSP Project Officer is required to:

• Establish and ensure effective working relationships with other office staff.
• Ensure effective working relationships with national society counterparts and leadership.
• Ensure effective working relationships with relevant staff at the Regional, Zonal and Geneva level of the IFRC

Qualifications

The Vietnam Project Officer is expected to possess the following qualifications and experiences:

• Be of Vietnamese nationality and live in Vietnam.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the field of transportation, road safety/public health or education including project formulation and implementation in association with government at different levels. 
• Minimum 3 year experience in programme implementation, including writing reports or working in support function.
• Able to support programme development and monitor implementation and support office management.
• Masters degree or relevant post graduate qualification in one of the desired  area.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
