Director for Women's Development Assistance Fund

According to the design of the project for Adaptation to Climate Change in the Mekong Delta in Tra Vinh province (AMD Tra Vinh), under the sub-component 2.1 Rural finance for resilient livelihoods, the project will provide a package of comprehensive technical support for the Provincial Women's Union for implementation, establishment of new savings and credit groups operating under the model of social funds in the period 2014 - 2018 and then transformed into microfinance institution in 2019.

Currently, the Women’s Development Assistance Fund of Tra Vinh Province (WDAF) has put into operation in early 2015.

However, the Women's Union and the WDAF are lack of experience and necessary skills in management and administration of the WDAF oriented microfinance institutions. To improve and strictly implement the agreed actions from the IFAD supervision mission in 2015, AMD Tra Vinh project will recruit a full-time director with full of capacities, experience, relevant expertise to operate the Fund and build capacity for fund staff.
