We are now recruiting a Regional Financial Controller - We Effect Europe/Asia, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The main responsibilities include:

• Overall Financial Management of We Effect Europe/Asia operations including budgeting and consolidated financial reporting to Head Office
• Plan, carry out and follow up financial compliance monitoring and capacity building of all We Effect supported operations in Europe/Asia
• Regional Team Finance coordination, support and training
• General Administrative responsibilities

Qualifications and experiences:

• MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or Economics
• At least five years relevant work experience in an INGO, three of which should have been at senior management level, with overall responsibility for the finance function.
• Possess working knowledge and proficiency in computer accounting and application packages; knowledge of iScala accounting software will be an added advantage.
• Good computer skills in Office packages, Microsoft Excel in particular.
• Strong facilitation skills and proven ability to manage change processes are of prime importance for this position.

The Regional/Vietnam office is situated in District 1, HCMC, Vietnam and has 7 employees (5 working in the office).

The Regional Financial Controller is working directly under the Regional Director for the Europe/Asia region and is in frequent contact with the Administration and Finance department at the Stockholm headquarter for We Effect. The Regional Financial Controller is supervising five Country Financial Controllers in Vietnam, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Macedonia.
