Climate Change and Biodiversity Sector Specialists
Chemonics seeks senior and mid-level specialists for a long- or short-term position for an anticipated USAID-funded Climate Change and Biodiversity project.
Consultants should demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following technical areas:
- Biodiversity conservation
- Community livelihoods
- Payment for ecosystem services (PES)
- Climate smart agriculture
- Sustainable forestry
- Agroforestry
- Public-private partnerships
- Protected area management
- Community-based NRM
- Watershed management
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum seven years of working experience in natural resources management, wildlife conservation, and forestry on donor-funded projects
- Fluency in English required
