Human Resources Business Partner – Asia and Middle East

Reporting to the Global Lead, People and Development, in Sydney, the People Partner Asia and Middle East is responsible for providing a high standard of operational HR advice and support for people managers and employees across the Asia and Middle East regions. Working closely with our country managers, you will oversee the effective implementation of global HR polices, systems, initiatives that support our operations. This role will support six countries in East Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines) and four countries in South Asia/ Middle East (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Nepal).
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working as a HR business partner within an international context. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to implement global policies at a local level, advising and influencing across a diverse range of cultures. You will have highly developed interpersonal skills coupled with strong planning, prioritization and organisational skills. Your positive disposition, energy and commitment will be crucial. The ideal candidate will have had experience navigating a central headquarters while being able to deliver to the business locally.
This role will require frequent travel across the region, therefore to be eligible to apply you must be able to access all 10 countries within the region. Ideally located in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia or the Philippines.
