POSITION SPECIFICATION

Position:        Intern

Location:        Hanoi, Vietnam.
Reporting:     Regional Project Manager
Contract Duration:    3 months and potentially be promoted to Program Assistant according to his/her performance
Deadline:        15 Nov 2016.
Starting time:     25 Nov 2016

Job Summary:   

• Support to Regional Program Manager on Administration and Finance (A&F) tasks of Deworming and WASHOBA Laos projects.
• Support the team in implementing and monitoring Deworming Project in Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, Nghe An provinces.

Duties & Responsibilities

• A&F support works
  
  • Assists Project Manager in Laos and Regional Program Manager to check and finalize financial documents for approval, ensuring that the payments or financial reports are correctly made in compliance with EMW policy and Lao circumstances
  • Support the fund flow management of the Deworming project implementation, including fund disbursement to local partners and financial report of local partners.
  • Assists the Regional Program Manager in implementing and following-up A&F works such as preparing logistics, financial forms according to organization’ s policy
  • Arrange logistics for meeting with local partners, field visit of donor, implementation team and research team for both Deworming and WASHOBA Laos.
  • Support the team with translation of project documents English – Vietnamese and vice-versa
  • Fill in and keep track of all project documentation, support the administration of Dropbox of Deworming and WASHOBA Laos

• Deworming: 
  
  • Monitor and supervise the project activities according to the project work plan.
  • Support monitoring activities, travel to provinces to monitor the implementation of both deworming and hygiene/sanitation activities as required.
  • Support to Thrive Networks team and Evidence Action team in collecting and checking required documents/data/reports.

• Report to Program Manager on any issues occurred for both deworming and WASHOBA Laos

• Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.

Work Conditions:   

• The primary work location will be in the EMW Hanoi office, with occasional travel to field locations.
• Travel by public transportation, private vehicles and overnight stays will be required. 
• The ability to travel abroad is required.
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special programs and events.

Qualifications:   

• College or University degree in social work or related field of study.
• Three years of relevant professional experience.
• Command of Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Fluency in English and local language is required. 

Salary and benefits will be determined based on experience and qualifications
