Senior Finance Officer

WWF-Greater Mekong (GM) – on the ground in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam – is working to conserve the region’s biodiversity and build a secure and sustainable future for people and wildlife.
WWF-Greater Mekong is seeking a motivated Senior Finance Officer who will be responsible for the accounting process of WWF-Greater Mekong office including the consolidation of financial reports from all country offices and at the regional itself. S/He is also responsible for the quarterly financial reports to donors for regional projects. S/He assists the Regional Finance Director and Roving Finance Manager in ensuring the compliance of finance and accounting systems, policies and procedures from WWF-Greater Mekong, WWF International and donors.
Base location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or in relevant fields
- At least 5 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting management, at regional level is an advantage
- Experience in implementing and monitoring the compliance of finance system, policies and procedures, preferably the context of an international organization
- Experience in developing finance systems, policies and procedures is an advantage
- Experience of working in multi-cultural environment
- Good understanding of international finance and accounting systems and of local systems of a country in Greater Mekong Region
- Good knowledge of fund accounting including reporting requirements of major Bi-lateral Aid Agencies
- ACCA qualification or equivalent is an advantage
