Consultant to Conduct Trainings on Community-based Disaster Risks Management Program to Commune and Hamlet Leaders

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:
Vacancy: Consultant to conduct trainings on Community-based Disaster Risks Management program to commune and hamlet leaders. This training course will be conducted in May 2017 in Ca Mau and Gia Lai provinces.
Main Responsibilities:
Based on the approved training package on CBDRM, to provide the most effective trainings which should be audience – focused, friendly and engage active participation of participants. To that end, the following tasks are foreseen:
- Design and development of training materials (including but not limited to training agenda, pre/ post-tests, presentations, handouts) for the CBDRM trainings in 2 provinces (Gia Lai and Ca Mau) which include sharing best practices from nationwide
- Delivery of 08 trainings as indicated in the attached SoW
- Provision of technical support in development communication plans
- Provision of final analytical and training report which should include:
- Actual training content
- Evaluation of trainees quantity and quality
- Changes in the attitude and knowledge towards CBDRM among those who are working in disaster management at community levels;
- Report should be area wise with specific information of each target province.
Key Competencies:
- Have good knowledge on CBDRM and emergency response
- Have at least 5 year experience in working in the areas of CBDRM, emergency response, community development;
- Have strong experience in designing and conducting ToT trainings in related fields for relevant stakeholders;
- Proven excellent strategic thinking, participatory approach and analytical skills
- Proven communication and writing skills, including relevant reports
